We sketch together, test clays and dream up new shapes while honouring each maker’s integrity and individual style - so one artisan crafts each design from start to finish. Using clay from the banks of the Nile in Aswan, every piece is shaped by hand, painted, and fired in gas kilns to achieve a glaze particular to Fayoum: slightly glossy, richly hued, unmistakably its own. Generous in scale and sold as a set of two, the Seasons Dinner Plate embodies slow craft and the timeless link between earth and table.
