Product & Craft 

1. Materials Used

We use a variety of materials sourced locally and internationally – ranging from Cotton, Linen and Clay.

2. Handmade Products

All our products are handmade – from our pottery collection in Fayoum to all our linen and embroidered products, handcrafted by a women-led cooperative in our artisan atelier in Cairo 

3. Variety Between Products

Since all products are handmade, each item is unique, carrying the subtle variations of hand crafted that make no two pieces alike.  
Please note that naturally dyed products and pottery will most likely have differences in color tones; these imperfections add to the beauty and story of the product.

4. Collaboration with Local Artisans

Ranging from the potterers of Fayoum, to textile weavers of Akhmim - ancient Egypt’s historic textile centre - and hand embroiderers of ourwomen-led cooperative in our Cairo atelier.

Most of our products are machine washable and dishwasher safe, however depending on the material, a number of our products should only be dry cleaned or hand washed.

Order & Shipping

1. Processing Time

Orders are processed within 3-5 business days (excluding weekends/holidays) after payment confirmation. 
All orders will be processed the next business day. Delays may occur during high order volumes, and we’ll notify you if that happens. 

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Time

Express Shipping: 3-5 business days. 
Same-Day Delivery: Unavailable. 
Delivery times may vary based on location, courier, or unforeseen delays. 

3. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location.

4. International Shipping

International shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Please note that customs duties, taxes, and other import fees are not included and may be charged upon delivery, in accordance with the recipient’s country’s regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

5. Order Tracking

You’ll receive a tracking number via email/SMS once your order ships. Contact support if you don't receive it.

Returns, Exchange & Cancellation

1. Change of Mind

We will accept returns if you change your mind about the purchase. In this case, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.  
The item must be returned in its original, unused condition. 

2. Refund Timeline

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during checkout (Visa, Mastercard, Meeza, or VaLU).
Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Meeza): Refunds may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
VaLU: Refund timelines depend on VaLU’s policies and may vary.

3. Order Cancellation

Orders can only be cancelled before they are processed and shipped. Please contact our support team as soon as possible if you need to cancel info@anutcairo.com.

4. Damaged Items

We accept returns if the item you receive is damaged. Please inspect your order upon arrival, and if the item is damaged, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

5. Proof of Damage

To process your return, we require clear pictures of the damaged item as proof. Please send these photos to us along with your order details.

6. Return Process

We will provide you with return shipping instructions. However, you are responsible for shipping the item back to us at your own expense.

7. No Exchanges

We do not accept exchanges for any reason. If you wish to receive a different product, you will need to return the original item (either due to damage or a change of mind) and place a new order.

Payment Terms & Processes 

1. Payment Methods

We accept a wide range of secure payment options through Kashier on our website including:  

  1. Visa 
  2. Mastercard 
  3. Meeza 
  4. VaLU 

2. Secure Payment Information

All payments are processed securely through Kashier’s encrypted gateway. We never store your card details on our servers.

3. Payment Charge

Your card or payment account will be charged immediately upon completing your order.

4. Payment Installments

Through VaLU, eligible customers can pay in installments according to VaLU’s terms and conditions.

5. Multiple Payment Methods

Currently, we only accept one payment method per order.

6. Payment Error

  • Double-check your card details or account balance. 
  • Try another accepted payment method. 
  • If the issue persists, please contact our support team for assistance.

7. Payment Confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation email once your payment has been successfully processed.

8. Hidden Fees

The total amount you see at checkout is the final amount you will be charged. However, depending on your location, you may be subject to extra customduties at delivery.
