Sacred Hands Big Jar

Inspired by ancient Egyptian wall paintings in Saqqara and Thebes, this poetic and timeless vessel brings a touch of whimsy and history to any space. Each piece is unique.

Made from Aswan red clay, shaped on the wheel, with additional elements cut from raw clay slabs and applied. White clay decorations are painted onto the raw surface before being engraved. The piece undergoes an initial firing, followed by glazing the interior with an opaque blue finish before the second firing.
