Khufu Playing Cards with Hand-Embroidered Cover

The Khufu Playing Cards are a set of illustrated playing cards designed to bring humour, colour, and character to a familiar game. Featuring two customised decks, one red and one blue, each card draws on ANŪT Cairo’s graphic language – reworking Ancient Egyptian figures and symbols into playful, contemporary illustrations. The cards are housed in a sturdy canvas case, printed with ANŪT’s signature motifs. A bold yellow image of the goddess Nut sits at the centre, surrounded by a constellation of pharaonic line drawings, while the phrase “Lucky in love, lucky in cards” sets a light, celebratory tone.
